Thank you for your interest in being part of Ogden’s Christmas Tradition.

Sponsor a Cottage 

Due to high demand, we’ve created an application process for cottage sponsorship. When a cottage becomes available or a new space opens up, a committee of 14 volunteers reviews all applications and selects a sponsor who they feel will bring variety, uniqueness, and excitement to the Village.

If you would like to sponsor an existing cottage, please complete this application and review the decorating guidelines. Submit your completed application to staceyo@ogdencity.gov.

If you’re interested in building a new cottage, please read the building guidelines and submit your application for both construction and decoration. Once a cottage is built, it is considered a donation to Christmas Village. You may continue decorating it as long as you wish, unless you choose to step away or violate the decorating guidelines. In such cases, we will find a new sponsor for the cottage.  Submit your completed application to staceyo@ogdencity.gov.

There is no charge to sponsor a cottage. We simply ask that you invest your time and creativity into making your cottage spectacular. While we want to recognize your efforts, please note this is not an opportunity for free advertising. Be sure to read the guidelines carefully to understand what is and isn’t allowed.

Other Donation Opportunities  

If you’d like to support Christmas Village in other ways, we offer several options:

• Breakfast with Santa  This annual fundraiser serves over 300 guests and always sells out. Recognition on social media and at the event.

  • Sponsor a table for a family in need

  • Donate a toy for each child

  • Cash donations help cover placemats, crayons, magicians, face painters, and balloon artists

• Muppet Movie at the Egyptian Theater  This sold-out event serves 1,200 attendees. Recognition on social media and at the event.

  • Cash donations help cover licensing fees and facility rental

  • Opportunity to share swag and information about your organization

• Mrs. Claus Tours  This event welcomes nearly 1,300 children each year. Recognition on social media and at the tours.

  • Donate items for goodie bags or provide the bags themselves

• New Lighted Display - Recognition on social media and also a plaque on the display

  • All displays must be approved by the Parks Director

• Propane Donation

  • We’ll place signage on heaters throughout the Village recognizing your contribution for providing a warm space on a chilly night.
• Other Ideas - Have an idea we would love to hear it. 

All donors will receive shout-outs on our social media and recognition wherever possible. 

Christmas Village is free to all visitors, and every improvement is made possible through generous donations from community members like you.
